To get a “Permanent” license from a different machine that has License Server installed on it

You need to update the “chroniker.ini” file located in the “…\NrgGlobal or Automai\AppsWatch\apps\includes\” folder. The update will add the following two lines in the [license] section:

License-Server = "license Server address "  i.e. http://NRG-VM55:8888

License-Type = "normal"

Now, AppsWatch will contact the License Server located on the server provided automatically to request a “Permanent” license from that server in case there is no valid license under the “…\NrgGlobal or Automai\AppsWatch\license” folder.

Note: For viewing the License details, go to the “About” page from the “Help” option.

Selecting “0” or invalid positive integer for the first two fields (Number of Stations and Number of IPs) will result in not sending the request for that field. Selecting “0” for Duration field will send a request for the default duration (which is 1 day).

After you specify the fields, click on “Submit”. AppsWatch will display whether the license was granted or denied.

Important: When AppLoader or AppsWatch are using token license (Floating or Disposable tokens), they send two requests to the License Server. One is for rUsers/Stations and the second one is for Backend Monitoring.

Usually these two licenses are requested/granted together; meaning: the end time for both of them is the same. Otherwise, in case the two files were requested/granted in two different times, then the end time for the tokens will show the least value among the two license files.
