Launch ScenarioStation on Startup

Set the Sstation.exe to launch on Startup under the ScenarioStation user account:

For Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2008 R2

Under the ScenarioStation user account

Go to Documents/NrgGlobal/ScenarioStation

Create a shortcut for Sstation.exe

Navigate to %appdata%

Open the Microsoft/windows/Start Menu/Programs/Startup folder

Copy the sstation.exe shortcut to this location.

Disable automatic updates

If automatic updates are available, there is a chance that there will be messages that appear in the user screens that could cause failures when monitoring using AppsWatch. For this reason, it is recommended to either turn off updates, or schedule them to a set time.

For Windows Server 2012

Open the Settings Menu and click on Control Panel

Click on “System and Security”

In the Important Updates section, select “Never check for updates” option

1. Go to Start, Administrative Tools, Local Security Policy

2. Under Security Settings, Select Account Policies

3. Click on Password Policy.
